Based on the highly successful principles of Charles Vander Kooi, and employed by the consultants for Vander Kooi & Associates, MORS provides a format for businesses to create the direct and overhead costs for their company. It is designed to account for all overlooked expenses involved in operating a business. MORS offers a concise method of entering and calculating the costs. MORS guides the user through a method that distributes overhead appropriately to different profit centers and creates markups on material, labor, equipment, rentals, and sub-contractors to recover the pre-budgeted overhead.

The MORS program also produces percentages for these overhead items that can be analyzed to determine if the company’s expenses are within the range of business norms. When all the data has been entered, calculations are performed to determine the mark-up on labor that will be required to meet the financial goals of the company. MORS prints out several types of reports that document the company scenario. MORS will also perform several ‘what-if’ scenarios by changing various data.
